Semi Homemade Double Chocolate Frosted Reese's Brownies

Semi Homemade Double Chocolate Frosted Reeses Brownies: These sinfully delicious chocolate brownie are by far my favorite chocolate treat! The chocolate frosting with chunk of Reeses on top of each bite takes this moist/chewy brownie to a whole new level! Also, given that's its a semi homemade recipe makes preparation quick & easy! Go for it....make a batch & delight your family and friends!
Ingredients: serving size: 8x8x2 pan of brownies (FYI: I doubled this recipe) ........1 box of Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownie mix ........1/3 cup of water ........1/3 cup of vegetable oil ........1 egg ........6 reese's cups quatered Reese's Peanut Butter Cup King Size 2.8 oz, 24/Box (Google Affiliate Ad) ........Non stick spray i.e. "Bakers Joy" ........Chocolate Frosting ........1 cup powdered sugar ........1/4 tsp vanilla ........1 tsp unsweetened Hershey's cocoa powder ........1 Tbsp of milk ........Prep. Instructions ........Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Assemble the brownie mix according to box instructions.
Spray a 8x8x2 inch brownie pan with non stick spray. Pour brownie mixture into prepared pan and bake according to box instructions.
Allow brownies to cool. Flip pan of cooled brownies out onto cutting board and trim crusty edges off. In a bowl add powder sugar and cocoa powder. whisk to mix. Add vanilla and milk and mix together until spreading consistency. Feel free to add more milk or powder sugar so that the frosting consistency is just right!
Spread icing evenly over the top of the brownies. place quartered Reese's cup pieces about an inch apart on top so each brownie square gets a reese's chunk.
Cut into squares. Helpful tip: you may need to clean your knife & spray the blade with the nonstick spray in between cuts so that the brownie and icing doesn't stick and clump onto the knife blade. Enjoy!
