Artisan garlic bread

Always nice with a meal...especially with a dish that includes a marinara sauce for dipping!
Buy a good loaf of artisan bread from your local bakery. This loaf was purchased from love that place! Any who, slice the loaf length wise and slather the middle with your favorite butter, sprinkle with garlic powder. Replace the two halves & slice loaf in one inch slices at an angle.
Wrap loaf in foil leaving the top exposed & bake in oven for 25 min. @ 350 degrees. Suggestion: I love fresh parsley...I often sprinkle the bread with chopped flat leaf parsley after the garlic powder!
